I have been having trouble building boost in my car for sometime now. Well i figured it out and my wastegate was leaking. So i fixed it today, fired it up and whoa did the boost come back. However now I smell something that I can only compare to burning rubber.

Question is does a burning turbine seal smell like burning rubber or do I have another problem else where? I also replaced my WG gaskets which could be burning too but I doubt it. and the car is untuned but i am working on that now. My AFR under bost was 14:1 Any ideals as to what I should be looking for?
