built turbo motor question
I just cracked a sleeve yesterday on my B18B. I have rods, pistons, arp, block guard, and cracked my fourth sleeve @ 20 psi. oops. have s-afc hack W/ 450 cc injectors. ran 13.98 @ 108 at 14 psi on 17in wheels. So my point is get your block sleeved.

your point doesn't prove anything, im sure most people here know not to run 20psi on stock sleeves. not to mention at 14psi and only running a 13.98, either u cant drive or somthing with your setup is wrong? what is your turbo setup and specs. but your right sleeving is a good thing

If you are only gonna run 10 psi you (should) be ok with stock sleeves. If you have to go faster in the future, and I can promise that you will, you might want to think about sleeving. IF you think you will be happy with 10 psi, Id just get the arp hardware and balance the bottom end and call it good. Maybe thermal coat your exhaust valves and combustion chamber.
You don't really need to sleeve it, it's been proved that the stock sleeves are quite strong. It's all about fuel/timing management and tuning. I mean, you have a super sleeved block, but it isn't gonna withstand detonation if its unproperly tuned. So get Hondata, EMS, etc...
Sleeve that block if you want it to last forever. Putting a bigger set of cams in the head, would kind of be like having vtec all the time, but it's probably cheaper to find a used b16/b18c head.
