Default Built D16 turbo, how much boost?

I just finished building and installing my "new" motor. d16z6 block, srp pistons 9.0:1, eagle rods, blockguard, arp head studs, d16y8 head, p&p, 3 angle valve job. I have the revhard stage 2c kit with hks ss bov, tial wastegate. My fuel management as of right now is a safc, fmu, 310cc injectors and a walbro fuel pump. How much will i be able to safetly boost up to once my engine is broken in and i get it tuned for the street (93-94 octane gas)? for the track (race gas)? Originally I was running around 8-9 psi on my stock block (116,000miles) til one of the pistons got eaten up. btw... i have pics of before and after and the carnage inbetween.

I run 10 psi on a stock block (with way to much timing from what I was told on my Hondata). Don't be puss. Boost that **** to 15.

Also, why did you go with a Y8 head? The Z6 is the better flowing head.

yeah what he said.

also you can't run anymore boost than those injectors will allow. your gonna be @ % 100 duty cycle somewhere in the neighborhood of 1BAR probably alittle before that.

"d16y8 head, p&p, 3 angle valve job" and the fact that this head has about 4x less miles on it.

I read somewhere that the 310cc injectors are only good to about 210 whp at the wheels. I guess i'm going to have to upgrade to some 330's or some 440's i guess.

Get some decent tuning in there and boost what you like.... The hack is for hacks with stock motors and budget setups.

yea it looks like you have the block to put down some serious sohc power but i'd rethink running it with safc and fmu. go standalone, get it tuned, and worry less.

Im about to go back to college and i'll only be working one day a week so i wouldn't be able to go standalone just yet.

you cant boost more then ~10.65 psi on a stock map anyway. so boost 10 psi and be done with it.

you can run that all day long
