Default turbo sohc

Ok, I was gonna get a B16 to swap with my stock sohc VTEC d-series engine (I have a '96 Honda Civic EX). But that is pretty expensive considering I also want the DRAG III kit. I figure I'm gonna run with the sohc I have, and put the turbo on that. But, I'm wondering if I'll get decent boost with it. Anyone got an answer??

You can run about 14psi off of the d16 block with a good fuel management system(Hondata), larger injectors, in tank fuel pump, GE rods, and JE pistons without any sleeving or building of the block. I am running 7.5-8psi right now without any of those things mentioned above except for the Drag kit.

Well, you'll get as much boost as you want really. As far as what your motor will take, It really depends how you fuel it. If you spend the $$ and do it right the first time (Hondata etc..), I'd say 10-12psi max on those sleeves before I'd worry about splitting something. I've run upwards of 1bar+ on my D16 before, held up great with the 440's and AFC trick, but I certainly wouldn't run this on a daily basis.
