building my h22
ok i want to boost about 9 - 11 psi (intercooled that is) in my h22 in the next few weeks. Right now it is bone stock, i dont have tons of money to spend on it so i was just wondering what i could get away with doing to the engine right now to make it safe to drive around town at those boost levels, or do you think that is too high with out totally rebuilding the engine ( resleeve, pistons, rods, valvetrain, etc..). Any input would be great, the engine is not in the car yet so i want to do all these things before i drop it in. if you can try to list the manufacters of the parts you recommened and suggest that would be fabulous. Thanks!!!!

anyone anyone?? I know with the b16 you can just swap in some gsr cams and a thicker turbo head gasket and be good boosting anywhere from 7.5 - 12 psi. does this same theory apply for the h22 or will i need to do more extensive engine work?? anything would be helpful, thanks!!

what ecu you using? I would only boost about 7 psi until you rebuild engine with new pistons, rods and resleeved. that's what I'm doing on my prelude. But i heard of someone that is running 11PSI stock block so you might to post in the prelude forum maybe someone ther can help you a bit more
