Default building head?

i have a b16a2 currently and am going to build a gsr block forturbo on the side while i am using my b16 for dd. i am wondering what can i do to the head to make power increase and still be good after i swap blocks? vavle springs? cams?

springs/retainers, gsr cams would be fine, and deburr the head like a type R, get ti checked for valve sealing, and straightness, etc.

springs and retainers wont add power, but they will let you use the power that youre making until higher rpms and its always a good idea in case you miss shift or powershift. gsr cams will be good for a turbo set up, or itr cams if you can get your hands on them for relatively cheap ($300&gt. you can port and polish the head if you have the money and think its neccessary as better flow never hurts anyone. biggest things are cams, cam gears, and intake manifold really.
