Default Building a B18C1 - Suggestions?

I'm going to be building a B18C1 for my 97 EK. I'm only looking to make a reliable 300-350 whp with this setup. I'm pretty new to the Honda game and I was wanting some opinions and suggestions on things you guys might change or things you might add. Here is the setup:

Wiseco 8.6:1 pistons
Eagle rods
Clevite race bearings - main, rod, thrust
ARP head studs
ARP main studs
OEM Type R oil pump
Supertech valve springs and retainers
Gates kevlar timing belt

I'm not sure where to find a good engine gasket kit with a cometic headgasket so maybe you guys could point me in the right direction. Also, I've done some reading about the oil pump gear and supposedly they aren't very strong. Would you guys upgrade the oil pump gear? And I'm kinda curious about what power level I should sleeve the block at. I'll appreciate any help I can get. Thanks

List looks pretty good. I probably wouldn't go with that low of compression but that's up to you.

I'd just use a gasket set from honda with OEM headgasket. The oil pump should be fine. 300-350whp is fine on stock sleeves. If you plan to do more than ~450whp later and you have the funds it'd be better to sleeve the block now and not worry about it. Just remember, boost is addictive.

Yep. And that compression is a bit low for that. Unlike other platforms, higher static compression is more usable than you think

I think the next step up is 9.1:1. And I may just get a cometic headgasket for insurance. Depends on my funds. Sleeves are way out of the question, though lol

If you're only building for 350whp, running a higher static compression will make the car much more streetable. There wont be such a disparity between on and off-boost. If this was my car, i'd consider mid-to-high 9's for pump gas. If E85 is your fuel of choice, mid to upper 10s...
