D16z6 T25 in a CRX Build. 12 sec or go home!
So as of now i'm still NA i ran a 14.8 on my d16z6 with bolt ons in a 88 hf. I got most of my parts in now i just have to install it. This is my first turbo build so its all wired and **** lol. i picked up a t25 from my buddy who has a eclipse that just upgraded his turbo a few months ago so i did some research and found out about the hf manifold and an adapter plate will bolt right up to my engine! so i started piecing the parts together and now i pretty much have most of the things i need and the remaining parts are in the mail. I'm shooting for 200 whp and high 12 pass on slicks with good mounts. i think that is a very reasonable goal since my NA time with crapy all season tires ran a 14.8. So today i did the mock up and ran into a problem now i'm kinda stuck here, the turbo and manifold all bolt up but now i have very little space to work with cause my crossmember is in my way. should cut it or hammer time it? also if you have this set up or have done it post your setup and some pics please. thanks.

350hp is not needed to run 12s, my car makes 380hp on a Dynapak, which is around 360whp, and I run 11.5-11.8s all day. Not to mention, this is in an Integra which is way heavier than a CRX. Here are some vids to show you:

Yeah with slicks I say high 12's is very possible. The T25 is a good choice for that small motor but will become inefficient above 15psi. The T25 will get you there but to go any faster a bigger turbo will be needed.

On my old EF I ran the Jimfab unit and I loved it. It was by far one of the best bang for the buck modifications I did to car! The next was running some high quality mounts, both worth the money you end up spending IMO. The vibrations from the new mounts... I got used to it really quick, It bothers some people though.
Good luck!

Did some research and I think in gonna go with either the innovate traction bar and mounts or explicit ones. I'll prob not notice much more vibration since I run full suspension anyways lol

Innovative ftw! I've been using their mount kits for years now and have had no issues. I am now using their solid mounts and will never look back. Traction bar wise, Full-Race owns all but Innovative would be my second choice.
