Im looking to build one of the summer. i have a b16 that i ran 12.2 on with small slicks. Im sure i could of hit mid 11s with more tuning and proper slicks.
Anyways.
I would really like to build a low 10 sec car.
Im looking to upgrade to a gt35r turbo.
What are 10 sec cars running for setups? Block? Bore? What sleeves? Pistons?Rods?Head? blah blah

well i have put and times down yet but with the power im making it should go high 10's
z10 84mm block
eagle rods
arias 84mm pistons

over the winter im building another motor a bit stronger

you got a hatch..so

b18c low end
manley(or crower) rods.
cp pistons

big turbo
decent mani(guys have run tens on the inline pro )

stock c5 head.
stock tranny.
in your hatch(with some weight reduction) with traction bars and slicks.

could probably do it like that.

its not rocket science or THAT hard these days .just takes some coin. (trying to make more power or go faster is another story)


jinxproofs old hatch is a good example.

iirc there is another guy on here running tens in an eg hatch with a stock b16 making 350 whp.

actually I started out at 15 then eventually making it to 10
