if i get golden eagle sleeves rated at 1200hp on a b16a block. what else do i have to do to be able to make around 500whp? the turbo i'll be running is a gt35r .63 .82. do i need to do any head work or just push boost?

 

Some GSR or ITR cams are always a nice addition to making good power as well as an intake manifold like the edelbrock unit. Proper pistons and rods obviously, and assembly will be key, as well as tune. A well designed manifold should not be over-looked either

There are plently of people making big numbers on stock heads and cams.

 

stock head will work, but a built p-n-p head will work better...since it is more efficient, you'll make more power at the same boost level
