well, i ended up making 276 whp after the tune this summer. I want more power, lol....
but dont have a couple grand to build the block yet. If i build the head, (port, gsr camshafts, ??? valves) would this put me over 300whp by next spring? on a good tune??

 

B16 cams suck. A $50 set of GSR cams should make some serious improvement. The manifold makes a big difference too, I picked up 30 WHP by switching out my manifold and downpipe.

 

just turn up the boost.

 

with all the machine work and head parts, it will cost almost as much as a block build and gain not much hp, and still be just as much stress on the block which is the weak part of course.

if you want more power turn up the boost. i would build a spare b18 block on the side.
