I might have to have the head gasket changed, sometime soon. Should I go ahead and take the opportunity and change the rods and pistons, among other things. Or should i keep everything as is and wait and see how much longer the engine will hold up. What would u guys do?

if you have the income right now, definitely. you'll wanna build it later. the only reason i did mine separate was because of money.
