Default breather

my kit is about to go on and was just curious or not to see if i needed a breather on the valve cover or not. or should i just run a line to the piping

Atleast put a filter on it, they are cheap at autozone. If you wanna do it right, check this out for the PCV system.

Well, if you think about it on a honda N/A their is vaccum created at the vave cover from the intake pipe to help vent the motor. And their is vaccum created on the PCV valve from the intake manifold to vent the crankcase. When boosted the boost pressure will hold the PCV valve shut and pressurize the crankcase. This pressure has no place to go except up past the rings and out the little tube on the valve cover (blowby).

The proper way to do it is vent both the crankcase and valve cover to a catch can and provide a vaccum source pre-turbo to pull out the vapors. Or put a small filter on the valve cover and vent the crakcase directly from the freeze plugs on the back of the block and eliminate the PCV system.

exactly what I was saying there is no vaccum at the valve cover there is blowby coming thru it! ya ok your honda is probably the first car you have had
