why are you so against b16 trannies? It is def the best tranny for the best possible 1/4 mile time. Its got the shortest gears. Can you argue that?

 

b16 and usdm itr trannies have identical gear ratios.

and as for oil pumps, this has been discussed millions of times. obd2 b series all have the same oil pump, yes this means type r. obd1 on the other hand, ls and gsr are not the same oil pump. part number for the obd2 pump is 15100-P72-A01.

 

I understand that. I dont know why he said that b16 trannies were junk and then also said to get a GSR or type R.
