Right from the FAQ you should familiarize yourself with.

How do I break in my motor?

Your going to get different opinions. Id search and make a decision on how you want to do it. Some people break in their motor hard, some people don't

I personally use the old(er) MototuneUSA break-in method. (from the old website, not even sure if it is still around). Basically works for any type of 4-stroke engine assembly.

I have broken in a few motors this way with very good success, not only in overall compression and leak-down numbers but horsepower differences between my setup and others with extremely similar engines.

General rules I follow.

-setup a start-up tune with a competent tuner

-start up and let idle-learn process complete while bleeding the coolant system, as well as checking for leaks and monitoring gauges.

-street tune to slightly rich(er) AFR's while varying RPM as much as possible.

-hit a dyno immediately for full break-in tuning OR hit an open road/highway with little to no traffic in 3rd or 4th gear rev up 1/2-3/4 throttle just before vtec (about 5000rpm) and let off the gas, let the engine rev down (engine braking). repeat this process for about 50-75km's (30-40miles).

-slowly increase your revs every other pull (while your tuner is making fine adjustments) for about 100-150km's (62-75miles) or until you are getting close to redline (still maintaining 3/4 throttle).

-return home or to a shop, change the oil and filter immediately while hot.

-fill with oil check for leaks again.

-engine (piston rings) are broken in...

-perform full tune

-change oil and filter again

-fill with synthetic or high quality racing oil of choice.

-enjoy

the first 5 minutes are the most important, rings and bearings are breaking in. After a good idle time of bleeding coolant and getting oil warm, change oil and tune. obviously checking for any abnormal chunks of metal, very very fine dust is normal, it is bearing and ring material from its breaking in process.

good luck

^^ FYI

Bearings do not "break in", they are constantly surrounded by a film of oil and if measured and built correctly there should be no interference.
