Braze? I just drilled a hole slighly smaller than the threaded part of the fitting and screwed it into the oil pan with a flat washer. Then I used a washer on the inside of the pan along with a nut and tightened it. I then put a lot of jbweld around the washer, nut, and fitting on both sides. No leaks whatsoever.

You can do that

The first pan I did I brazed the outside, and JB welded the inside, no leaks.

My second pan I TIG welded both inside and outside no leaks.

Both pans used a brass fitting

The brass fitting is a pipe fitting and is tapered (sp?) so the nut won't spin over it easily like regular nuts and bolts do. Just bring it to a hardware store and find a nut that will work on it then you have to tighten it until it's snug.
