D16y8 Oil pan/oil feed line
Im not exactly sure how to go about drilling the hole into my pan for my oil feed line to the turbo, I kno where to drill the hole, but how to tap it and plug it......idk does anyone have any suggestions or comments thanx

you must take off the pan, drill it and weld on the fitting, or you can use the weldless ones. but you must pull the pan cuz if you drill with it on the engine,you will get metal shards in the oil.

when i did mine, i dropped the pan, drilled the hole, and put the bung in. im not sure what the bung is made out of, but it made its own threads in the soft aluminum when i turned it in. (tunertoys oil line kit). then i put jb weld on the inside and outside of the pan. almost 5k miles thru a pittsburgh summer and winter and its dry as a bone.
also, when you drill the hole, keep track of your drillings. its easier to keep them out of the pan than it is to clean it when you're all done.

thanx for the input, i already dropped the pan i just need to get some drill bits and figure out where exacly the hole needs to be drilld thanx
