Default Brakes locking up after boost/stalling...HELP!

I just installed a t3/t4 in my 01 GSR. I have an ssqv and a 38mm TiAL Tee'd off of the brake booster line (i basically pulled that little grey thing and put 2 conjoined tees in it's place). Problem is, today after my frist run, I ran a WOT run up to my full .5 BAR, and when I let off the gas I had to stop for someone merging onto the highway. My brakes felt like the car was off (stiff, and hard to get to lock up) for a few seconds. This is DEFINATELY not safe. Is this normal? how can I fix it? Also, twice today after my WOT highway runs, the car stalled out after I let go of the gas? This is running off of an uberdata base map, and i'm running DSM 450's. I'm assuming that it's running too rich and stalling? What do you guys think? TIA

Dude are you kidding me? You removed the brake booster check valve that must be there for the brakes to function properly. Without the check valve properly installed I wouldn't drive ANYWHERE! Put it back now.

The check valve would also answer your stalling problem. You need to find a way to keep both the vacuum log and the check valve. Just make sure the E and arrow on the check valve it facing toward the intake manifold. Then put the vacuum log between the check valve and the intake manifold.

In my GSR, the little plastic piece that i removed was basically just a grey couplar. I had my friend tell me that it was supposed to be a check valve also, but I can 100% guarantee you that when I pulled it out, it's a smooth straight through couplar, noting more. Maybe because it's OBD-II? Can anyone else add some insight?

It should be a check valve. My girlfriend has a 2000 GS-R, there is a gray check valve in between the brake booster and the manifold. If you don't have one, get on as soon as you realize the value of your life.

yeah, I was about to pull my E-Brake if the brakes didn't respond...it's only like 2 seconds till they grab but when you need em, 2 seconds is too friggin late!

Found out my problem i think. The piece that I removed WAS the check valve at one point. I pulled appart my buddy's 01 GSR and the grey couplar in his car IS a check valve...odd though how mine is straight through? also wierd that mine looks different...oh well, i'm gonna go to acura and get a replacement tomorrow. Thanks!

Yea it is a check valve, but that may not be the only problem. I used a universial Tee, that tapered down on both ends. When I first put it in, I didnt cut off the small diameter part of the tee, which resulted in no vacuum for the brakes. Needless to say, the car barely stopped. So make sure the Tee your using has a big enough hole to flow enough air.
