Default bov vacuum source

wanted to know, how you guys with the bov mounted on your intercooler routing your vacuum lines..

I have a dual backdoor i/c, and my bov is mounted on the hot side of the i/c.. Would like to see some pics of where your vac lines are hooked up to..

I'm just more concerned about the length of the hose, and if it would affect the bov operation.. thanks

No matter how you look at it, you'll have to run a vacuum line from the intake manifold to the bov...just try to keep it short and kink-free. The length of the line shouldnt really be too big of a concern

If length and flow is an issue wouldn't bigger vacuum line help with some of the lag?

im using 3/8" line going to an inline air filter before the BOV, then 2" of small line to the BOV.

Mine is using the bigger port on top of the manifold usually used for the PCV which is a great source for accurate pressure readings and BOV functions.. but this isnt the only way, just the way i did mine.

hope that helps.

See that is what I was thinking would work. I assume your venting the pcv to a catch can?

Yea it definitely has to go to the intake manifold so theres not a lot of options. Just use whatever size vacuum line its supposed to take and like they mentioned before keep it kink free and away from the manifold. I remember reading somewhere about a test on the length of vacuum line versus the lag it created and even running like 20 ft of line the lag was minimal. And this was for a map sensor so u should have no problem at all
