BOV question
I just got an eclipse BOV from the junk yard but I'm not sure if it works right....I hooked up a vacuum tube and sucked in but the valve didn't open....is it that it needs a more vacuum then I can give or is it not working?...but the way, If I apply pressure to the "flap" part, it opens and air come out of the vacuum tube part...

I can I can blow 1 PSI so my boost gauge told me :-D lol I think if you hook the vaccum up to the manifold(even without building pressure from a turbo) you can get the valve to open. I know when I'm not even in boost I can hear my RFL go off.

That's becuase you are building boost.... You may not have been in boost yet, but your turbo was spooling and building boost, that's why you could BOV without the boost gauge reading psi...
