Default BOV problems

car: B18A 89 Civic 4dr.
setup: t3/t4 turbo, custom piping, dsm 450cc, smc+.
problem: BOV will not work.
Ive tried two BOV's neither of them work. I T'd into several different vaccum locations with both BOVs, nothing works. I even tried a factory Saab(bosch) BOV, and that wont work. What gives? I noticed Im only getting -10 on the vaccum side of the boost guage. Think the motor is shot? Runs great, pulls even greater...

well maybe you have anough pressure in the pipes to keep you in boost but as soon as you let off the throttle the pressure escapes thru the leak and not thru the bov. I mean I'm not saying thats the problem, I'm just saying its something to look for.

well...maybe. its a .45 bar spring, and we are seeing 4-5 psi. the IC is HUGE though, so I figured it was just pressure drop. I checked for leaks too, all tight.

You have a vacuum leak. That is preventing the BOV from working. Fix the leak and the BOV will work.

I tried all of the ports on the back of the I.M. I tried one of the 3/8 lines on top of the mani...ount know anymore.
Its got to be vaccum related, because Im only getting -10 on the boost guage. you want around -22...
