Default BOV not working at all

My HKS SSQ is not working at all, i tried relocating the vacuum source to the brake booster line and I still have nothing. It barely opens. Took it appart and tried to clean it and grease it up and nothing seems to work. I'm running 6psi right now, give me your opinions.

Is your car making the full 6psi or do you have a leak in the piping somewere? If your sure the vacuum source is sufficent(sp) you might just be expecting more noise then it is supposed to be making...are you experiencing turbo surge ie. stalling the turbo rather then blowing off the excess boost?

Yes I do have a surge, bov doesn't release anything so i get a fluttering noise. Im getting a full 6psi and no problems there with it holding up.

it may be messed up, are you certain to be getting a good vacuum/boost source correct?

Has it ever worked for you?

Well i bought it used and since ive hooked it up no luck. The vac source is fine it just wont blow off and its causing what sounds like a surge.
