do you know for a fact it's putting wear and tear on one? beisdes ppl saying it...have you ever really seen it do it? even some factory cars have come wihtout a bov/bpv

but either way...if your SSAC bov is broke, it'll be the first one i've seen

actually yes i have seen what it can do, theshodan gave an example of the problem, i believe on team-integra...


BUT, you are kidding me about the ssac bov valves breaking? i have had 2 buddies, dumbshits at that for going ssac. have the BOV actually just break... they wouldn't relieve boost anymore because the internals were that stressed...

well the problem is solved. i removed the BOV and cleaned inside the spring chamber then applied a small amount of wd-40. then re-installed the bov and like brand new i sounded great and no more pressure surge. i want to thank everyone that helped and hopefully ican help you sometime on the future
