yes the line goes from the BOV to a vacuum source ... your intake manifold.

it doesnt need to be any specific spot does it? is this why some plp get the golden eagle vacuum block or w.e it is that mounts on ur firewall and has vacuum line ports and stuff

anything off of your Intake will send the signal you need. I got G.E. vacuum mani because it looks real clean.

No the vacuum line does not have to come from or be in specific spot. I suggest you make the Bov vaccum line as short of a route as possible. The reason poeple use vacuum manifolds, is to keep things organized and in one place. If they tried to find vacuum srouces for a number of things they would be T-ing off in so many places and even tapping the manifold ect. Alot of guys just use the brake booster line before the check valve and run it to the vacuum manifold as it is a big hose sifficent enough for the manifold. I hope i haven't confused you but post back if you have any other questions.

yes you are right. you run the vacuum mani off of the break booster line (before the check valve. which is a little metal thing in the vacuum line. you can feel it if you squeez the line.)

heres how I did mine. sorry the pics is blurry.

i ran my bov and boost gauge off the big vacuum line for the brakes and the wg off the turbo, like others said the shorter the lines the better.
