Bosch fuel pump Installed!! Pic Request
Hello, im ready to install my Bosch fuel set up that i bought from Stan (Flamenco-T) and i need to see a pics from underneath the car so i can find a good location where I can install mine. Thanks.
Rolly,
Here are some pics of the previous installed. Hope this helps..
Top of the fuel tank cover

Fuel pump location.

What I did to mount the fuel pump was drill a small hole for the bracket right at the foot area of the rear seat.
From here you can mount the filter somewhere inline on the front to rear side of the car.
From the filter, run the line to the fuel rail, FPR and to return.
I'll try to snap some more pics later and post some more..
thanks
Stan

you guys scare me with those pumps being so vulnerable sitting in harms way, on a daily driver anyways. I know I've personally run over stuff at night on the freeway that would rip that all to pieces
but if it works for you guys then

no there not bosch pump is a puller i was goin to start to install mine today but welding the fitting on is confusing me becasue what goes on the bottom side so i can run my line to filter.... also what size line are all you using????
i have a hardline running down to the factory filter. I think the hardline is 3/8th inch or 1/2in. I heated up the walbro prefilter and then pushed it onto the hardline and boom, done.
I didn't mean hitting something like a speedbump, I was talking about the debris on the freeway that is very often metal and when you run it over it likes to bounce around and knock into ****, like external fuel pumps. calm down guys

Im sorry i have to agree with him, i saw these pics and i was to scared to run mine in same spot, especially my car being slammed.
What i did the EGR valve on my 96 civic sit on the tank i removed theat and that freed up alot of room.I mounted my pump right there and the fuelk filter towards back of car.Now it sits inside the frame rails and i dont ahve to worry about **** hitting it!!

i have one on my car, i know where the hell it sits and its not low, i can tell you that, the bottom of my pump is maybe .5inch lower than my fuel tank. and i don't know about you, but i've never rubbed my gas tank on any thing as i drove.
does anybody have pics of how the fpr is mounted you have to use your factory feed for the return also if there is a pic of the bottom side of factory pick up how the an fitting and tube sits
