Bosch BOV
Does anyone know of a good on-line place to order a Bosch blow off valve?
Does the $50-$60 range sound good?

i have heard nothing bad about them at all. i didnt have much luck finding one for my specific needs, but i ended up scoring a DSM BOV (thanks DamonBoost)
i hope you get to try one out cause i think they will be perfect for most of our applications on here. and so cheap compared to most aftermarket BOVs. Most (maybe all?) Bosch BOVs are made of plastic, but who cares? Porsche uses em.

but the 1.8T guys have had problems with them holding pressure at 1 bar or even stock. the later ones have been upgraded. you could also get the audi 1.8T bypass valve ($40 from the dealer), it holds pressure better. i think thats what they use on the later VW 1.8Ts.
you could also go to a junkyard and get the bosch valve off a saab. the dsm 1g bov is metal, so you can crush it to hold more pressure if need be.
