im building a lsvtec an was bought a brand new borg warner s366 for 400$ off a friend who decided to go bigger and was wondering if its gonna be to big or if it will get my goal

im gonna be running 25psi
and was shooting for 400-500
ill be happy with 400
just wondering if that turbo will get to my goal or if its going to be to big i have everything built and ready to go just wondering if thats going to be a good enough turbo i was going to get a 6266 but i came across this one

Yeah, I'd agree. Anywhere from 51lbs/min-58lbs/min could work either way for that goal. An S366 is HUGE for something that reasonable and simple.

That turbo is too big for anything less than 600. You need a much much smaller unit. A 57/60 trim t3/4 or gt30 is the right size. Pte 5431/5555/5558 works too. I think a 6262/66 is too big as well. Idk why everyone talks abt big turbos like they're necessary to make big power. I saw a guy selling his em1 using a 6262 on a b16 to make 370whp. Literally. Wft is the point of boost onset at 6500 rpm. You have a 82x89 with 9.5 cr. You need the smallest turbo to get you to 500 HP. Not one capable of 500-900 HP.

its hp rating is 350-450.

if your using this for street you will more then likely start spinning above 400whp on a
LS. spinning is not winning....

its a street car but im running slicks on the street all of our cars we run slicks on the street with vht sprayers infront of the tires, when we start racing we hold the button to spray the vht the whole time.

That power level listed is to the crankshaft. It's good to about 460whp or do by 21-24 psi of boost pressure with that turbo. That is about 52lbs/min
