Default To bore or not to bore (h22a1)????????

Hi,

I am building my block(usdm h22a1, closed deck) for turbo..I already have Darton sleeves which are a replacement stock bore 3.415(not installed). I am thinking of exchanging them for a custom bigger sleeve. The reason I purchased the stock one's cuz my machine shop said since the block is aluminum you don't want to make it weak with a bigger bore. I have checked many built h22's and see that alot of people got bigger bore, custom sleeves and bigger pistons. Can anyone tell me some pros and cons about the bore issue? If I was to go up to 2.3L compression how would that affect the engine power, strength etc?..What is a reasonable size custom bore and what is the better piston head ratio, in the 8 or 9s for a street car maybe 10%track? I am looking for fast spool up time in my turbonetics t3/t4. Any help greatly appreciated..Thanks
