What are your power goals and what is your budget?? You can make a good amount of power on the stock block so a rebuild may not be necessary

exactly, the ls is a great power plant for boost if its healthy. The long gear'd tranny is great too ! Basically with proper fuel managemnt and a reputable tune, u shld be fine for a while, just dont go crazy on the boost if its ur only ride.

my .02 >>> start saving now for the day it breaks !!!! cause its only a matter of time. GL

the trans is only good if you have a responsive turbo and a midrange power band. otherwise you wont be in the max power for long per gear. dont wanna run a big t4 on an ls for a streetcar in my opinion.

headstuds and some good management you can run 300hp or more with relatively little problems

I run an LS/VTEC with only headstuds, golden eagle block guard, and a plastic IM gasket. I put down 320. I want more power and am going to start building the block. I have some turbo components for sale...lmk if ur interested
