Default boosted d16 with nitrous questions

i have a 403whp 310 ft lbs d16.. im thinking about throwing a fogger kit on it.. probably something like 35shot. how much extra power do you think the "35 shot" will add to my boosted motor?

will it be safe? what should be changed in the s300 ? what are the nitrous/aux controls for?

im a nitrous newbie sorta

turbo and injectors are maxxed out.. i can deal with getting new injectors but not another $1000+ turbo when this one is brand new..

i would just like to have a "oh **** im losing" button available when needed.

does no one on here use nitrous and boost?

I dont think very many do because of the bad rep that nitrous has for destroying motors when not tuned properly...I used to love nitrous when I had it, but I dunno about using it with boost. I suppose if you're tuned right then you should be fine. If you're going to use it, I personally wouldnt use it for the "oh **** I'm losing" aspect of it but more for lower end torque and for lag purposes.

well i have some input here. not a d but i used to run a built/sleeved b16 WAYYY back in the day with the legendary greddy 18g turbo kit and blue box.

i ran 18psi on the greddy kit and never had it dyno tuned. then i got tired of that, so i put on an NX wet kit.... 75 shot. from what i can tell, boost and nitrous on a 75 shot acted like a 100 shot for my car. but i also had really bad boost spikes i guess b/c of the internal WG. my car NEVER saw a dyno. it was based off the fuel from the blue box and then the "proper" mix of the fuel and nitrous jets.

i had bought that motor used with 30k on it. i put another 40-45k on it. both myself and the first owner sprayed the **** out of it. sold it, compression was great. and it retuned at more whp than i ever made on it. to my knowledge it still is running great.

so i guess what im sayin .. SPRAY IT

your 57 trim is maxed out at 400whp with a built bottom end and built head? it should have some more left in it, and if it does i would just turn up the boost. if you want to do the nitrous i would say run at least a 50 shot. that price seems pretty good for a kit.

I wouldnt do it if your injectors are already maxed out, because you can still run lean on a wet kit especially if like to run with the pressure high like I do. (1050-1100psi)

Conract St00pid or T1 for detailed info and assistance. they are 2 of the best tuners around.
