hey guys looking to boost a d16 to around 17 pounds would like to know what needs to be done to the motor, upper/lower end etc. i planned on eagle h beam rods, vitara pistons, arp headstuds, sleeves, balance crankshaft. would like something pretty reliable not sure if this is all necessary??? what about the head should i build it??? any thing else im missing?? suggestions and any help would be greatly aprreciated, thanks

But first question, what's your hp goal?

 

What are you missing? Everything. Where did you pull 17PSI out of?

 

17psi does not tell us a whole lot. If you could give us the CFM of your turbo or just your overall hp goal, Everyone would be able to help you more.

 

I would do FJ rods, vitaras.. eagles give you like 7.5:1 compression ratio... fj are like 8.8... other then that a P&P will help but your head and supertech valve springs with stock retainers... stock cam is the best on the street

stock sleeves are fine and the crank is fine by its self
