Default Boosted Automatics w/ 5 speed swap

Anybody on here with a boosted Automatic that did a 5speed swap? I am considering doing it but I want some pros and cons and why I should or shouldn't do it, along with rebuilding of my automatic...did you see a big gain with the 5 speed conversion?

I did a 5 speed swap before I'm going turbo and it was a huge difference already.

What all was required and how much did it cost you to do the swap? Would you do it again, in other words was it worth it?

i've been through all phases of auto to auto hybrid swap, then turbo auto hybrid, then more boost till i destroyed the auto, then five speed swap low boost, then decent amount of boost on five speed.

the boosted auto vs boosted manual at same boost (6-8 psi)...at the track the times or speeds were no different and neither were the 60's on street tires. the auto was quicker and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more consistent all day and night. i was expecting half sec to sec gain in e.t. from conversion...no way. the manual is more fun to drive. i have lsd now and that also makes a difference so don't ignore your traction issues you'll get along with having a tough racing clutch.

The auto that I am dealing with is a turd...the car only put down 150hp at 7psi of boost WTF...I think it is the tranny holding it back so much.

N E ONE else had any experience with a automatic with boost? If you have and also have done the swap please contribute with your experiences..

what engine is this on? 150 whp with intercooler or without? What fuel management? Get an intercooler if you don't have one, HP with and without is night and day..... get a standalone or at least a piggyback if you don't have one already....i'm sure you have at least an safc/vafc....proper injector sizing and proper fuel management is very important and is night and day on your figures.....and just drive the friggin auto till it blows.....the heat produced by the added HP/TQ is what makes the tranny fail......hook up a auto tranny fluid cooler and just drive it with low boost till you can afford a brand new tranny. economical really...unless you have "money hanging out of your anus."

I'm boosted and automatic on my d16z6.
60' ... 2.446
330 ... 6.610
1/8 ... 9.995
mph ... 72.01
1000 .. 12.938
1/4 ... 15.401
mph ... 91.82

My best 60' of the day was a 2.436 and my best trap was 93.5mph.
My setup:
1994 Civic ex coupe
td05h-14b @ .62 bar(roughly 8.5psi)
afc hack
dsm smic
apexi rs cat-back exhaust with stock cat
(60mm w/ a chambered muffler)
16x7 rota n1rs on 205-40 falken ze502(28psi)
Eibach Sportlines and KYB agx(set @ 1f 8r)
spare and jack removed
a/c, ps, & cruise control.

For what I have I guess my times weren't so bad but I would love to hit 14s before I swap to a 5spd. I think my exhaust is holding me back bigtime, along with my ic not getting enough air relative to its location, and 40 series tires.
