Boosted 94 INTEGRA LS
Hey all, i have been reading through the ls-t forums and have learned alot of ****. ok here is the question i have. I own a 1994 acura integra ls. 243,594 miles on it. the motor has always been taken care of and has never given me any problems, here recently i have been wanting to boost the old teg, so i went and had a compression and leak down test on the motor, leak down was 95% across the board with only 5% loss on each cylinder and the compression i cant remember what it was but the mechanic said it was great. ok to my question: what is a semi low budget turbo setup for my motor that can put me in the low to mid 12's? keep in mind that this is my daily driver so i dont want to go to much past somthing that will put me in the low 12's. also when you tell me the setup please give me all the specs on what i should get and the brand name of it,, any info on what i should do to prep the head and the block is much appreciated, plus a good turbo kit.. thx all

to get into low 12's u might have to spend quite a few bucks
i have seen many people do 13's wit spending alot on some cheaper parts and used contacts to get them as well.....
not really sure what kits or anything u can buy that will give u that much power

dont go wit an ebay turbo kit....
i was looking at kits and realized that by piecing my turbo kit together i could really get the feel of what each part does....
kits are good but piecing a turbo set-up together is better.
not sure for 2500 though....prob wont find too much with that unless u buy lots of used parts....and cheap ones at that.....
with my stuff i probably spent about 3500-4000 maybe alittle more just because i had to buy new stuff...old stuff was crap...
i have a SSAC manifold and wastegate for sale as well as a turbo....
the turbo has alot of shaft play so that might need so fixing up but the manifold and wastegate are in good shape..

Search. There is a thread devoted to the LSt set ups on here ... many pages long, with pics etc.

Re: (94Integra_Ls)
I spent about $2500 for my turbo kit (including a full dyno tune) and made 253whp and 222wtq at 8psi. Now that will put you into the 13's, maybe 12's on slicks/radials. Would be more with 10psi but i made the power i wanted so i'm keeping it safer. I pieced everything together, buying slightly used parts in the classifieds section. The only thing new was the Walbro. Took me about 5 months but the wait and time to find cheaper (yet reliable) parts pays off! DO NOT BUY EBAY TURBO KITS! You'll regret it.
