Default Boost on Stock ECU -JDM B18C (ODB1) w/ no management

Right so how much boost can i run on stock b18c with 550cc injectors with NO tune or fuel management other than factory map on my P72J ECU. By run i mean drive safely around town not WOT ever just getting me from a to b.

I have an unistalled s200 and probably going to upgrade s300j so no point installing it but I want to drive the car so can a low boost setting get the job done?

agree. hell the car might not even idle those 550s in the first place.

also, with a stock ecu you are going to get a check engine light if the map sees ANY positive pressure anyways. the car will go into "limp mode" until you reset it.

Failure is imminent... take the turbo stuff off until your ready or pull the wastegate spring and baby the car, 0psi or you will wish you listened lol

the ONLY time you have a turbo on a stock ecu is when you're going to the tuner, still have the stock injectors in AND pulled the WG spring and should have the BOV pulled as well with a filter or screen of some sort over the hole. this will prevent you from pressurizing the motor on your trip to the tuner

you might have better luck with crome pro, neptune or some of the more popular {and cheaper} platforms. i know there HAVE to be good shops in your city, it's just too big not to have them. ask around the regional areas and or make a post about houston tuning
