Boost Spiking! Need help ASAP going to DYNO TOMMOROW AAAHHHH!
Ok guys I need all of your help right now. So here is the deal. I have a Drag gen 3 kit on my Type R. Tommorrow I go in for HONDATA! Which also includes 4-5 hours of dyno tuning!
But here is the problem: I am boost creeping bad! I have a delta wastegate that came with my Drag kit. I just put the lowest psi spring (the green one). It is supposed to boost 3-5psi, but no..... mine goes up to .69bar or basically 10psi!
I have a 3" downpipe and 3" exhaust all the way back. So I expected it to be a little higher then 3-5psi but not 10!
I have the wategate plummed from the compressor, to the side of the wastegate.
I have the AVCR boost controller, however it is not hooke up at all.
This is the EXACT same kit I had on my LS integra and it NEVER boost creeped/spiked.
So any ideas on how to keep the boost from spiking? I need to know soon cuz i am going to the dyno tommorrow!
Thanks
Chris
PS- Is it possible I am just flowing to much air for the delta to handle? maybe its time for tial..

Re: Boost Spiking! Need help ASAP going to DYNO TOMMOROW AAAHHHH! (TurboIntegra)
are your hoses new ?
i'm using a tial wastegate and i had the reverse problem of yours. I couldn't boost past the spring. So i upgraded to b igger hoses and the problem went away.

Let me know if you need a Tial wastegate. You can pick one up from our warehouse on the way to the dyno.

Ok, just ordered the Tial. I hope this solves my boost creep problems.

Try one of these. We ran it up to 16psi and it held perfectly.
