Boost source?

Errr... it will be accuarate at full throttle.
At partial throttle, you often will have more boost in the intercooler pipe than you do in the manifold; with a smaller turbo, you could easily see 5-10 psi more in the intercooler pipe when you're at part throttle.
So, the max boost will read correctly, but part throttle will not.
Also, having a vacuum gauge is a great diagnostics tool.
