I just picked up my B16 turbo hatch yesterday. And when im in 1st and 2nd gear everything is fine, but when im boosting 3rd or up.. right when the rpm's hit about 5000, it cuts out and kinda bogs down...

I called the guy i got it from and he said when it was tuned for 10psi the weather was about 100 degrees out, so since it was night when i was driving home it was really cool out probbaly about 60, so it could have been running lean??

Not sure what the problem really is, today i tried boosting it in the afternoon and it did the same thing. Im thinking maybe a turbo bearing, also just FYI it had low coolant and when i added water and drove home, when i got there it had taken all the water i added to the overfill. So i refilled it with some coolant but haven't driven it since.

check the plugs and wires and all the grounding wires
