boost leak
What methods are there for identifying boost leaks? I don't think it's a vacuum leak because the engine idles fine. All my piping is connected tight. My manifold is missing one bolt that connects it to the block, but all others are tight. I don't have a dumpt tube on my Tial yet. I disconnected the wastegate and ran like that. Still no boost. So that rules out the wastegate. I'm stumped. HELP!

Re: boost leak (dominate9)
Get a small hose (3/8. 1/2) and put it in your ear...run it along the piping and other things that possibly could be leaking and you can actually hear where the air is leaking. Best of luck with it.

get a 2.5 inch cap at home depot, drill a hole in it. put a bike tire stem in it. glue it down good. wait till it drives.
hook that up to the end of you piping with another silcone coupling, and pump away. you will find leaks all over the place. 100% sure.
platinum.

another solution is to get a bicylcle inner tube, cut it in half and clamp it down over both sides, then inflate it.it already has a tire stem in it.you only need to test up to 30 psi at the most.
