Default Boost + Larger Displacment = ?

(feel free to laugh at any of the questions i ask, i'm still a newbie..)

So I was checking out the H22 Accord over at http://www.collectiveracing.net/scott/top.htm and i was wondering if a bored/stroked bottom end would go well in a forced induction enviroment (turbo, that is).

Only gains? Or is there some downside to this that I don't know of?

Any help appreciated, thanks guys, i'm really learning a lot cause of you

i know most guys are swithcing to liek 84 mm bore on bseries motors. With the new sleeve technology out there its getting easier to make massive torque with out screwing up your rod stroke ratio.

There is also alot of people going the stroker method with shorty rods and a stroker crank with custom pistons that move the wrist pin up.

Over all either way its becoming a more and mroe prevalent in turbo cars.

as long as everything is designed and assembled properly, there's no replacement for displacement, all else being the same.
