I recently switched out my flywheel and my clutch, and after i received my car i noticed that i was putting down only 4 psi/ to the normal 8-9 that i had before.

i took out my manual boost controller, and i still get the same psi.

can it be my wastegate?(external) but if it was broken i shouldn't have any boost at all.

-can it be a leak? maybe a small hole somewhere. i did notice that my BOV is not blowing off!

start by checking the obvious things first...vac lines, couplers, etc

 

yea sounds like a coupler might be loose or a charge pipe isnt on properly.. happened to me once and thas wat HT members assumned and they were right

 

so i figured it out. It was a loose coupler and air was escaping from it when the pressure increased! -so i tighten it and everything is wonderless (for now)
