Default Boost increase in cold weather *winter guys wanted*

Hey guys whats up. I have question for those of you on the board that live in cold weather places such as me.

My car has yet to see a warm day while turbo charged.. and so my boost levels are higher than the WG spring (the spring is at 6-7psi, cant remember exactly).... but now that the weather is getting warmer (like 35-40 degrees F) im still experienceing higher boost.

so now im begining to wonder if my boost creep is because of the cold weather.

earlier in the winter my boost was at about 10-11psi in higer rpms (scary ****)--that was about at -10 to 5 degrees F
but now that its about 30-40 degrees F depending on the day it gets up to 8.5-9psi.

so im just wondering roughly what outside temps does it need to be for you guys to run normal boost levels?

Thanks for any input you guys can provide.

well i dont even know an equation to plug in numbers for the relationship between air temps and air density.

plus there is always the difference between theoretical and actual measurments... but thats why i was just asking in general what other people have experienced.

well then the simple answer to your question is yes.

coler air contains mor oxygen to combust with the fuel.

im aware of this....(more than anyone)

but at what temps do people experience normal boost levels.

what are the conditions when the WG springs recieve their rating i guess would be a better question.

it doesnt really matter because that will never happen.

get a MBC and you will be able to adjust it accordingly
