boost gauge woes

boost gauge woes
i got a new boost gauge in the mail today and the needle is at -5 hg at atmospheric pressure. i can blow/suck in it and hte needle moes just fine. any idea how to take it aparta nd reorient it?

hook power and ground up to it, it should have an auto zero feature whenever power is on.
at least my cobalt ones do, dunno bout yours

if its a mechanical gauge then that wont work (but we dont know if it is or not...)

yea, I forgot to add that part to my post
should read zero with nothing hooked up if its mechanical
either send it back to where you got it and get an electrical one or call autometer.
