Default Boost DeSpike?????

Alright, as strange as that sounds to me, maybe there is a reason for this happening. I was racing a colbalt SS tonight, won 3-5 times, lost twice cuz I missed 2nd into 3rd ( auto to manual swap so give me some time ) and well I have a turbo XS MBC. I have the setting so it's at 10 lbs and it holds great, I really don't have any problems with boost spikes but tonight, when I really wanted all 10lbs of boost, I didn't get it! I went to about 10 lbs and then around 5k RPMS it dropped to 6 and stayed there. I hear my wastegate opening up.

heres some basic info on the motor

b18b
b16a tranny
Garrett T3 .48 hot, .42 a/r
TiAL 38mm wastegate w/7lb spring
Turbo XS MBC
Crome on p75
and a bunch of other **** but that's not really needed to solve this problem

so yea, I've been having this problem for a little bit now. Any ideas on why I'm like losing boost? Could it be that my MBC is ****. if so, I think I'm going to go with the Apexi AVC-R EBC. Any input on that boost controller?

But oh yea, I owned that SS pretty bad though.

oh, and one more thing. I powned him on a basemap, lol

( I know it's bad to run boost on a basemap but it's been running like a dream and I'm going for tuning this week so no flamming in regards to owning him and an LS-1 firebird on my awesome basemap, Done by J-K-Tuning.com ) Thanks John
