Default boost creep near redline?? is that my problem or is something else wrong

well ive heard of this happening on high hp/flow setups, but i dont think im making much over 300hp.

setup:
ls/vtec
ramhorn mani
57 trim t3/t4
tial 38 .5 bar spring
3" downpipe with e cutout
hallman mbc turned all the way down.

finally took the car out for real the other night. its holding a solid 10-11 psi (off the 7.25psi spring, open cutout) but from like 7500-8500 rpms the boost makes it way up to 13 or so psi. my passenger said i hit 15 psi once, which im not keen on because i dont have fuel/tuning up that high right now.

vacuum lines are all hooked up and whatnot, what do you guys think is happening?

My Neukin ram horn manifold does the same thing. I boost around 16 PSI but it'll creep to 17 or 18 by 7000rpm. We pretty much have the same setup, but I think it's just the wastegate placment on the manifold. . Oh well, I'm not too worried about it since it's tuned for it. GL on the fix

yea man, once i get larger injectors i wont give a rat's ***, its just right now im way on the borderline of my current ones, so i dont have the fuel should i hit much more than 12 psi. i was rompin on it good today and i didnt see over 12 psi.

If everything is hooked up correctly, it could just be as easy as wastegate placement on the manifold. I have had a few setups that do that, and its hard to get around it sometimes.

yep, definately cost me the block and pistons.

IF YOUR ENGINE MANAGEMENT HAS A BOOST CUT FEATURE, USE IT.

thats my advice to anyone who might read or search this later on.
