i did a search and have been paying close attention to both terms on this board for a while now.but i never saw a REAL definition of it..i know it RELATES to the idea of more boost going through than intended whether its through the wastegate or elsewhere...and i know deltagates are known to do this while tial's are better at doing its job/./

so can someone please give me a quick info on these terms..thanks

spike: boost builds so quick that wastegate doesnt open in time - could be caused by bad WG source or other things

creep: boost reaches target and then keeps climbing 'creeping' higher as rpms increase - usually caused by inadequate WG or poor placement of WG port.
