Default boost creep

ok im running a 8psi spring in my tial gate, im creeping up to 12. ive just put new internol to make sure its not the gate sticking. but its still doing it could it be the wastegate or manifold. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1990-...Q5fAccessories

thats the manifold i have well at least they look the same. idk what it could be ive redid all my vacumm lines i dont have any leaks.

if u need to know set up its a

probably due to the poor wastegate placement on the manifold.

also make sure you chain the wastegate down to the engine or something so you dont lose it when the wastegate pipe cracks and falls off the manifold.

lol yea had that happen before on a different manifold. tell u the turth this manifold ive got has been holding up really good (-) the boost creep. it was only 10 but i pull the charco can off the car and it was at 12 idk if that can was working at a boost leak for something probley so really.

but still no body on here thinks its the wastegate not keeping up. if not anyone got any set to look at good built manifold for the bseries i dont really want to have a boost sprick cuz of this manifold thats on the car or is there anything i can do with what ive got to make it work better.

i would just get a good manifold. the problem with the one you have is that the wastegate pipe is at more than a 90* angle from the exhaust flow, making it hard for the gases to escape through the wastegate opening. so they continue into the turbo making it spool up more.

yea thats what me and my buddys are figureing its the manifold. im just wanting to make sure that the 38 tial is able to handle it which it should there shouldnt been a problem. im just trying to get more opinion that way im not buying a manifold and wastegate.
