Default boost creep

i had a tial 38mm wastegate had bad boost creep so my tunner told me to get a bigger wg. so i got the pricision 46mm he told me to put a small spring in it to help not have creep. we put the 6lb spring in and it still boost creep to 16lbs. wouldnt a bigger spring help stop boost creep.

The cheap manifolds like that are notorious for creeping because they have horrible wastegate placement and design. If it's creeping from 6 to 16, I doubt there is anything you can do to fix it. I wouldn't waste time modifying the manifold, just buy a better manifold and use the 46mm.
