Default Boost creep ?

I've been datalogging on the quartermile. This is the result:

My questen: Is my small sized wastegate causing the boost creep ?

I've also tried the TurboSmart E-boost controller, but it is even worse. The pressure fluctates up and down..

My setup

Tial 38mm wastegate
TurboXS MBC
GT28RS, T3 .86A/R
B16A2, Wiseco pistons
Crome Engine Management

whoa, that be 30ish psi on what WG spring, cause if you have less than a 1 bar spring, then that will cause creep, from what i gather. Well, I have heard you are not suppossed to double your WG spring psi with a boost controller, so you may just need a bigger spring... My guess.

the wastegate spring is the smalles possible, think its 0.25lbs. It makes about 7psi alone. I dont think its the reason.

Which TurboXS boost controller do you have?

If it's a ball and spring type it might explain the spike. It could be spiking like that until the ball leaves the seat and then bleeds the boost pressure...

It takes more pressure to initially compress the spring than it does to keep it compressed, which might explain why the boost spikes and then settles a few psi lower.

I hope I explained that correctly. I'm not sure if this is the reason, but just a guess.

The closed loop wastegate is doing it I bet. Mine is doing it too and I have a similar setup.

I'm going to be force to either live with the creep or go open loop

Unless I missed it, what turbo manifold are you using? This is big producer or expeller of creep...

Try a stiffer wastegate spring.
