Boost creap!!!!!! can not control boost.
Like the title says i can not even start to control the boost. What all will cause this, i have a junkie ssauto crapp manifold and a 35mm wastegate and running 300+whp . When vtec comes in the boost hits the boost cut off at 18psi. It has a 8psi spring and i cut the spring in two and it still hit the cut off. Need help.

A few postings with similar problems, talked about leaks in pressure hoses to wastegates and other leaks etc. being the cause.

make sure the diaphram isnt cut, and where are you getting your boost signal from? if you can take it off of the compressor.

inside the wastegate housing, the aluminum thing on the top, there is a nitrile / silicone diaphram that acts on the wastegate spring to open or close it.
