Boost Spike with TiAL 35 mm wg and profec B
I have a TiAL 35 mm wg with the type r racing/sparks/meng manifold, and a profec b boost controller. When we were tuning it we noticed that the boost started to spike a little bit. We had it at like 17 psi and it would spike to approx 20-22 psi..
How can I get rid of this?
We tried adjusting the sharpness on the boost controller, and even the jumper settings on the back of the controller....
any suggestions?

So you're having boost spiking problems too?!?

I have only set on 5 PSI and now it's spiking up to 13psi.
But I have stock internals
I'm trying to avoid the spike if I can and I keep adjusting my wg, but it just doesn't seem to want to control boost.

what WG spring do you currently have? I would plop a higher bar spring in, and if it doesn't solve the problem, it most likely is the manifold.

But it never had it before. Why would it happen suddenly now?
Has anybody had this problem with Maxrev Manifolds.

I only have a .3 bar spring, but I only want to push 5psi in mine. Thing is, even with the boost controller off, the wastgate can't seem to keep the boost down at first!.
